It went well all things considered. My friend/next door neighbor was with me the first 4 miles and that was nice. She's going to run the 10 miler w/ me next week. I ran a new route. I took the Murdock canal trail which I started in Lindon and ran all the way into Highland (which I can't believe is only 9 miles) and then back. It took me 3 hrs and 55 minutes which I was disappointed about because that was a 13:03 minute/mile pace. But I finished it and I felt good, like I could have kept running if I had to. It was pretty cold and windy yesterday but sunny and I was in a hurry to get going and forgot to put on sunblock so my face is a wee bit red today. However, I'm grateful it was so nice and sunny yesterday as it is currently snowing pretty hard, we probably have 2 inches of snow on the ground. How did your run go?
